DESCRIPTION

This product (Recycling Business Financial Model) is an Excel template (XLSX), which you can download immediately upon purchase.

One of the main benefits of using a financial model or financial planning spreadsheet is to get a sense of pricing, costs, and the general timing of cash flows over a defined period. This template lets you do all of that in regards to the recycling space. Your business is doing a great job at helping clean up the environment and at the same time producing or manufacturing something that has value to society.

Recycling based companies can thrive and this high level analysis will let you plug in your costs to acquire / attain recycle materials and then the expected price point you are selling the newly attained materials for. The model solves for the minimum equity investment required to keep cash flows above 0.

This is a recycling financial model. The timeline can be set for up to 10 years with monthly and annual summaries as well as final return metrics including IRR and a DCF Analysis / NPV and total ROI of the project.

The main output this model solves for is minimum equity needed to launch (including debt financing). The logic is pretty simple. You can model up to 15 material types that all have configurations for start month, acquisition cost per unit, selling price per unit, and count of unit sales per month in each of the 10 years.

The acquisition cost could also be thought of as the processing cost per unit depending on the exact type of operation. There is a fixed cost schedule to account for general overheads and this is configured based on line item description, start month, monthly cost in each year.

Includes comprehensive visuals and a final Executive Summary (annual periods) with key return metrics. There are terminal value configurations if desired. This allows the user to set an exit multiple based on annualized EBITDA or revenue.
