The purpose of this procedure is to explain the process of permitting employee's leave; The procedure is carried out to ensure that the requests are based on valid reasons in order to maintain optimal work productivity.
A study by the America's International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans found that employees who take their annual leaves are 40% more productive and less irritable, depressed, forgetful and easily fatigued compared to employees who don't take annual leaves.
Taking a break makes employees more productive. Ask anyone how they feel after a vacation, and they will say that the holiday makes them feel more focused, refreshed, ready and raring to start work compared to the latter part of each year when breaks are less or fewer.
Studies have shown that employees tend to work better after leave – they become less prone to accidents, they become more productive, and less likely to be stressed out. Employees who take their full annual leave entitlement are also less likely to file sick leave.
After leave an employee feels recharged his motivation for what got him to working with the employer in the first place.
1. 44% of employees do not take their full annual leave entitlement because they are too busy!
2. Employees who take their annual leaves are 40% more productive and less irritable, depressed, forgetful and easily fatigued.
3. Without breaks employees become 65% less creative and miss deadlines.
4. Well rested employees are 38% less prone to work place accidents.
5. An employee's productivity increases by 40% after annual leave.
6. Employees who take their full annual leave entitlement are also 28% less likely to file sick leave.
Coffee breaks, tea breaks and Christmas breaks are all necessary for your employees to remain productive!
Without breaks, everything is affected from creativity to the ability to meet deadlines. Well rested employees are more focused, refreshed, ready and raring to start work!

His biggest achievement was in 2021 when He served as Deputy President Director at Hutahaean Group Indonesia by increasing the company's revenue from IDR 700 billion to IDR 1.1 trillion (y/y) and increasing the profit margin by more than 20%. Doing a turn around on business units that have lost in the last 5 years become profits. In addition, He have also succeeded in creating an efficient and effective management system by redesigning the Business Process Management (BPM), reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions and compiling the appropriate Key Performance Indicator Management (KPIM) to increase employee productivity.
He is currently active as a part-time business and management consultant (online) at Enquire Corp. and Flevy Corp. In addition, He also teach part-time at several universities for courses in strategic management, human resource management, project management, entrepreneurship and business.
