DESCRIPTION

This product (The Core TWI Training Programs: JI, JM & JR) is a Document Bundle, which you can download immediately upon purchase.

The Training Within Industry (TWI) programs were developed by top training and management experts in the U.S. and were extensively field-tested. When introduced to Japan in the 1950s, they were quickly adopted by many companies, including Toyota. TWI programs focus on creating a skilled workforce, improving labor-management relations, boosting productivity, and promoting continuous improvement.

This training package includes three key TWI modules:

•  Job Instruction Training (JI): Teaches supervisors how to instruct employees to perform jobs correctly, safely, and efficiently, minimizing scrap, rework, and equipment damage.

•  Job Relations Training (JR): Equips supervisors with skills to solve personnel issues using a non-emotional, analytical approach, emphasizing individual treatment and effective people management for optimal results.

•  Job Methods Training (JM): Guides supervisors on improving job performance to increase production of high-quality products, reducing time and waste through efficient use of manpower, machines, and materials.

The TWI training materials are customizable and designed for use in both classroom and hands-on settings, with practical demonstrations. Job aids like Job Breakdown Sheets and Training Timetables can be applied immediately or tailored to specific needs.

Training modules can be delivered separately, in 2-hour sessions, or adapted to your operational requirements.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Effective Job Instruction: Teach supervisors how to provide clear, safe, and efficient instructions to employees, ensuring quality and productivity.

2. Problem-Solving Skills for Supervisors: Equip supervisors with the tools to address personnel issues using an objective, analytical approach while fostering positive relationships.

3. Continuous Improvement in Job Methods: Help supervisors identify and implement improvements to optimize job performance, reduce waste, and enhance production efficiency.
