Research shows 73% of resistance demonstrated during times of change is not due to the current change effort, but instead stems from peoples past experiences, including poorly implemented change. What they are doing is bringing forward the beliefs and behaviors from the past. Three large consultancies have adapted their change readiness approach from this instrument.
