Your marketing communications strategy will help you tailor your message based on where your target customer sits in the funnel. This way, you will deliver value to your future customer and support your company's launches and sales goals.
A variety of strategies could be applied to get hold of probable customers. Traditionally, it starts with branding, logo, positioning of the product, trademarks, press release, sponsorships, sales presentations, corporate social responsibility, and many others.
The elements aforementioned, complicated and coinciding, are the primary constituents of an organizations' marketing communication.
Marketing communication strategy involves a vast array of interdisciplinary activities necessitating a protean skill set and effective coordination between all departments involved for successful facilitation.
Before the advent of marketing communication (MarComm) as a specialty, the publicity, marketing, advertising, and sales were recognized as compressed and inflexible departments only capable of functional connections between them.
However, MarComm enables smooth amalgamation of these functions which, most importantly, helps a company exhibit a cohesive image to the customers.
From a consumer perspective, it's easier to trust a brand that speaks to them consistently. So to build trust among your audience, remember to communicate a consistent brand messaging across all of your platforms.
Hearing conflicting information or having disjointed brand experiences, doesn't sit well with audiences.
Part of your strategy may also entail reaching out to journalists to help tell your story. By leveraging the trustworthiness of particular journalists or publications you can build consumer trust through these types of positive associations.
Marketing communication involves getting the attention of consumers and enticing them to interact with you. But the ultimate goal isn't usually just interaction, it's a sale.
When a public relations team is crafting a strategy around a particular sales promotion, the goal is to increase sales of the product or the service. Measuring these types of traditional or digital marketing efforts has been a challenge for marketing teams in the past, but the PR and social media reporting tools available today can help you track, analyze and prove the value of your efforts in the boardroom.
Once you have delivered your brand message to the right target audience on the right channels, you should see positive results.

His biggest achievement was in 2021 when He served as Deputy President Director at Hutahaean Group Indonesia by increasing the company's revenue from IDR 700 billion to IDR 1.1 trillion (y/y) and increasing the profit margin by more than 20%. Doing a turn around on business units that have lost in the last 5 years become profits. In addition, He have also succeeded in creating an efficient and effective management system by redesigning the Business Process Management (BPM), reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions and compiling the appropriate Key Performance Indicator Management (KPIM) to increase employee productivity.
He is currently active as a part-time business and management consultant (online) at Enquire Corp. and Flevy Corp. In addition, He also teach part-time at several universities for courses in strategic management, human resource management, project management, entrepreneurship and business.
