LEADERSHIP PPT TEMPLATE DESCRIPTION

Difficult Conversations for New Managers PPT: Workshop kit with role plays, case studies, facilitator guides, and editable templates for effective workplace talks. Difficult Conversations for New Managers: Season 1 is a 40-slide PPT PowerPoint presentation template (PPTX) with a supplemental Zip archive file document available for immediate download upon purchase.

Run an internal workshop where new managers practise what to do first, what to say and how to agree a useful next step. Difficult Conversations for New Managers: Season 1 is an English-language facilitator-led package built around four workplace cases, with an editable 40-slide presentation and coordinated materials for preparation, practice and debriefing.

WHO IT IS FOR

For internal facilitators, L&D and HR teams, managers, and subject-matter experts who deliver training alongside their main role. The learner audience is new managers and team leaders; no prior framework knowledge is required.

FOUR CASES, FOUR OPTIONS PER CASE

•  Quarterly Goals: align a higher team target with different experience levels, tasks and support needs.
•  Low Morale: explore uncertainty, test improvements and understand performance barriers before judging motives.
•  Repeated Shortfalls: turn a general request to improve into task-specific coaching and practice.
•  Motivating Employees: make recognition specific and appropriate, while considering fairness and employee preferences.

Each case presents four A–D options. Participants choose a first action, explain their reasoning and compare the alternatives before moving into a continuation and conversation practice. Suggested answers are discussion references and may not apply in every situation.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

•  An editable 40-slide PowerPoint deck with concise speaker notes and a matching PDF.
•  A complete English Season 1 ZIP containing the deck files and eight guides/forms in editable Word and PDF: facilitator plan, slide-by-slide facilitator scripts, participant workbook, detailed debrief answers, facilitator quick card, workshop feedback form, course-kit README and internal training license.
•  Plain-text companions, a CSV slide crosswalk, start-here instructions, file manifest and font notices.

The workbook includes decision exercises, continuation and role-play practice, and final application sheets. Reference choices and fuller reasoning stay in the facilitator materials.

FROM DECISION TO CONVERSATION

Use the plan and scripts to prepare, let participants commit to a choice before revealing the reference answer, then practise in groups of three with a manager, employee or colleague, and observer. Observer prompts help participants review their questions, assumptions, specific support, responsibilities and review points. The final application supports a fictional or low-risk workplace situation.

The provisional plan totals 180 minutes, including a 10-minute break and one 8-minute triad round per case. It has not been piloted. Extra rotations, extended discussion and feedback completion require additional time or an explicit scope change. Rehearse and adapt the delivery plan for your group. The cases are general workplace learning scenarios; use organizational procedures and appropriate specialist advice for serious real-world concerns.

This purchase covers the standalone Season 1 package only.

PRODUCT-SPECIFIC INTERNAL TRAINING LICENSE

The purchasing organization may use these materials only for its own internal training, adapt them for that internal use, and print and distribute learner handouts to participants in that internal training.
