CHANGE MANAGEMENT PPT DESCRIPTION
We are all well aware that the frequency of change is becoming a big issue in organisations, and the push for quick delivery, fast return on investment is key and constant pressure from leadership there is a danger of Change Manager being pushed into decisions that might not necessarily be the right ones for the situation in hand. This is likely to have a consequential impact on the success of a change initiative.
Change Managers are not immune to pressure but they must act as the conscience of the change. That doesn't mean being obstructive; it means providing insight, integrity, and intelligent challenge. Speed and success are not mutually exclusive but only when decisions are thoughtful, even under pressure.
These slides look at some of those decisions and, the consequences of them and some avoidance strategies
