What is a Center of Excellence?

A Center of Excellence (CoE), also called Excellence Center, is the management framework you put in place to help your organization move forward on projects in a timely manner. It takes the form of either a team, a shared facility, or an organizational entity that provides leadership, best practices, research, support, and/or training for a specific focus area.
