Change Management is the currency of success in business, organisational and community change in the 21st Century. Effective Change Management or "Execution" as it is also known, is the key to turning ideas and strategy into reality. This requires a wholistic approach, robust governance and accountability, and working effectively with other disciplines to achieve high level goals.
This document introduces the RIMER Managing Successful Change Professional Edition Manual.
RIMER is an individually considerate and collectively managed approach to managing change in business, organisational and community settings.
RIMER is the foundation of the first Australian National Competency Standards in Organisational Change Management and the textbook for the first Australian Diploma of Organisational Change Management.
Graduates of the Diploma are also awarded the RIMER Nationally Recognised Certification.
RIMER has had far reaching global effects on how change is managed at every level of organisations.
RIMER directly influenced the following industry association competencies and educational standards:
• PROJECT MANAGEMENT – Project Management Institute (PMI) and PM BoK, Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM)
• CHANGE MANAGEMENT – Change Management Institute (CMI) and CM Bok, Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP)
• HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT – Australian Human Resource Institute (AHRI), and the Society of Human Resource Professionals (SHRM)
Changes have resulted in the establishment of a Tertiary Educational Career Path for Professional Change Managers up to Master's Level.
