BizPM™ is a governance framework designed to ensure IT implementations deliver measurable business capability – not merely technical completion.
It operates as a governance overlay to established delivery methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, and ITIL. Rather than replacing execution frameworks, BizPM strengthens them by introducing structured mechanisms for business alignment, execution transparency, KPI-based value measurement, simulation-supported decision-making, and industrialised delivery practices.
Most IT projects successfully deploy systems, yet many organizations struggle to translate those deployments into sustained operational capability. BizPM addresses this governance gap by ensuring that business outcomes, operational readiness, and measurable KPIs are actively governed throughout implementation.
The framework introduces five integrated governance domains:
Objectives Domain – linking delivery activities to explicit business outcomes
Work Items Domain – structured execution governance aligned to capability realization
KPI Status Domain – measurable business value tracking throughout delivery
Dashboard Domain – transparent operational visibility for stakeholders
Simulation Domain – decision-support modeling prior to major implementation commitments
Additional governance mechanisms include structured gateways and buffers, template-based requirements governance, industrialised runbooks and playbooks, architecture completeness validation, integration transparency standards, communication architecture, and governed project repositories.
BizPM is:
Technology-agnostic
Methodology-inclusive
Incrementally adoptable
Structured for multi-practitioner execution
Designed for integration into enterprise knowledge platforms
Typical applications include ERP implementations, ITSM transformations, integration-heavy digital programs, PMO governance uplift initiatives, and operationally complex organizations seeking stronger ROI from IT investments.
BizPM serves as the governance foundation within the broader Business Aligned Implementation Methodology (BAIM) ecosystem, which provides a holistic architecture for business-aligned implementation practices.
This package includes both the detailed governance framework specification and an executive presentation deck summarizing the methodology for leadership communication, stakeholder alignment, and internal adoption support.
This framework is intended for CIOs, PMO leaders, digital transformation executives, implementation consultants, and organizations seeking predictable business capability realization from IT investments.
