DESCRIPTION
The Concentration Chart is used to show where a problem is occurring (its location). Location can be: Geographic: country, state, city, street, plant, building, etc., Physical: a particular location on a part or assembly (top, bottom, inside, outside, etc.), or Logical: database table, process step, file type, data container (zip, rar, pst, etc.). The frequency of the problem is used to gage the severity, in a given location.
The objectives of this module are to understand: the uses of a Concentration Chart, its basic elements & construction, how it can lead to quick problem resolution, how it is related to the Pareto Chart & Histogram and different names used for the Concentration Chart.
This material is suitable for independent study or formal classroom training and includes quiz questions.
