DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION

ISO 22000:2018 is the latest global food safety management system (FSMS). This standard replaces the old ISO 22000:2005.

The ISO 22000:2018 international standard enables organizations to control food safety hazards along the food chain in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of consumption. ISO 22000:2018 applies to all organizations participating in the food chain, regardless of type, size and complexity.

Companies/Organizations that are currently certified to ISO 22000:2005 have to transition to the 2018 version latest by June 2021.

This presentation can be used to brief your employees, new hires and potential auditees so as to create awareness of the ISO 22000:2018 standard. Alternatively, the presentation may be used to supplement your materials for the training of FSMS professionals and internal auditors.

It explains what is ISO 22000:2018, the importance of the standard, the FSMS clause structure, the ISO 22000:2018 certification process, and offers practical tips on how to handle an audit session.
