DESCRIPTION

This product (Your Roadmap to Change Management Success) is a 13-slide PPT PowerPoint presentation (PPT), which you can download immediately upon purchase.

Many things aid "change success" but some are more important than others and sometimes there is a need to state the "bleeding obvious" to get it to hit home. I hope I have done that with these slides.

I think that slide 5 … "Allow for changes in Line Management Roles" … is one of those activities that is critical to success but is one that is oft overlooked and the "just get on with it" approach becomes apparent from leaders who, dare I say it, don't necessarily give a "rats arse" to these people who can actually be of great help if given the right training and support. But the expectation is that they have the title of "manager" so just bloody manage. So damn short-sighted.

The other ones I would like to point out are Slide 4 … "Build in Active Involvement" and Slide 8 … "Users and Specialists should Collaborate" because this is another area where there is a great divide. Collaboration and involvement are absolutely necessary but if the Project Team and Users cannot talk to each other in a language they understand or the Project Team does not give the User the ability to participate and add value then "Houston we have a problem". Project Teams rarely use "business speak" and will always spout "TLA's" and IT speak leaving the user wondering what the hell they are talking about.
