This workshop invites the learner to assess the current state of excellence in their organization.
The workshop begins with an invitation to download a complementary copy of the Organizational Excellence Framework publication. This 240-page publication is a valuable resource that defines the principles and best management practices common to high performing organizations and provides implementation guidelines for the user.
Then the workshop provides an overview of the publication so the user can understand how it is organized. There is a template used for the information in each of the 9 chapters and appendices that provide a high-level overview of the Organizational Excellence Framework model and its applicability to different size organizations, more detail on the principles that describe a culture committed to excellence and an overview of the assessment and improvement planning process.
The workshop concludes with an invitation for the learner to do a self-assessment of their organization to capture the current state of excellence – What is going well? What needs to improve? ? and provides tips on how to set priorities for the organization when building on strengths and addressing opportunities for improvement.
