In our daily consulting practice we encounter a lot of management teams still fighting to get the change right. Changing the organization structure or work processes at the drawing board will change nothing at all if people do not want to go.
And people do want to change but don't want to be changed.
So the first step in a change project should always be the people, the way they cooperate and the culture.
Let people share the sense of urgency, thus creating broad support for change.
