PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXCEL DESCRIPTION

Go-Live Readiness and Hypercare Command Center is an Excel template (XLSX) with a supplemental PowerPoint document available for immediate download upon purchase.

Go-Live Readiness and Hypercare Command Center is an Excel-based management tool designed to help executives, program leaders, project managers, and implementation teams evaluate launch readiness, coordinate cutover, document decisions, and manage stabilization after go-live.

The workbook brings the core controls for a complex implementation into one connected package. It includes a Start Here page for setup instructions and company-specific definitions, an Executive Dashboard, an Executive Status Brief, a formal Go-Live Decision page, and detailed working tabs for readiness, cutover, RAID items, actions, decisions, defects, hypercare, operational handoff, and command-center staffing.

The Executive Dashboard gives leaders a concise view of days remaining until launch, overall readiness, critical blockers, open high-severity defects, pending decisions, and the calculated go-live recommendation. It also displays readiness by workstream and the current exceptions requiring leadership attention. Dashboard metrics are calculated from the working tabs, allowing teams to maintain the underlying records while keeping executive reporting consistent.

The Readiness Assessment helps teams define measurable criteria, assign accountable owners, document supporting evidence, identify exceptions, and record leadership needs. The Go-Live Decision page organizes formal decision criteria and highlights items that are met, at risk, or unmet. The calculated recommendation provides an additional signal for leadership review while preserving leadership ownership of the final decision.

The Cutover Plan supports detailed task sequencing, timing, validation, dependencies, communications, and rollback preparation. Separate RAID, Action and Decision, and Defect logs provide the fields needed to manage different types of launch concerns without forcing everything into one general-purpose tracker.

After launch, the Hypercare Dashboard and Hypercare Log help teams monitor incidents, severity, aging, recurring patterns, resolution time, and exit readiness. The Operational Handoff tab documents the evidence required to transition responsibility to the receiving support or business team.

The workbook includes generic example data that demonstrates how the formulas, dashboards, and reports work. It can be adapted for technology implementations, healthcare initiatives, system conversions, operational changes, vendor deployments, product releases, and other complex launches.

An accompanying PowerPoint walkthrough is included as the secondary document. It explains how to configure the workbook, use each section, run the readiness and go-live process, manage hypercare, and establish a practical operating rhythm.
