BENEFITS OF DOCUMENT
DESCRIPTION
The Business Requirements Document (BRD) is a template document that specifies the projects business requirements ? what is required to meet the business needs. The BRD represents high-level objectives of the organization or customer who is requesting the application, process, system, component, or upgrade. It is one of the most widely accepted project requirement documents and is referred throughout the development life-cycle for any project. The BRD primarily focuses on answering what the business solution is as opposed to how to achieve the business solution and it's mainly centered around the business requirements. A BRD is created with the help of the project team (BA, client, subject matter exerts, business partners) and is also used as a communication tool for other stakeholders/external service providers.
