Time Management by Six-box To-do List is an organizational Time Management framework that builds on transparency and strategic alignment.
It empowers executives, managers, and employees to push back when asked to do much work that can distract them from the areas of strategic focus. This framework provides a structure that brings the distraction into the open for discussion and internal decision on whether it is worth accepting or resisting. It takes the normal goal-setting process one step further--thus creating a much higher likelihood of follow through.
The Time Management by Six-box To-do List follows 4 basic steps:
1. Identify 5 things to focus on.
2. Create 6-box to-do list.
3. Help your direct reports create their to-do lists.
4. Manage without micro-managing.
