Their role is perceived as conducting audits rather than actively supporting business units.

The slide highlights that these differing perceptions can lead to significant dysfunction within the organization. Business unit personnel may feel overwhelmed by bureaucracy, which detracts from their productivity. This misalignment in views can hinder effective collaboration and decision-making, emphasizing the need for improved communication and alignment across all levels of management.
