The Data Center Site & Power Feasibility Pack combines the first two instruments of the ExpertPro Data Center Suite.
Together they answer the two questions that should be settled before detailed CapEx and project finance are built: which site deserves real diligence money, and can that site actually power the facility we intend to develop, when, and at what cost?
T1 – SITE SCREENING SCORECARD
T1 evaluates up to ten candidate sites against seven quantitative criteria, nine categorical criteria and six fatal flags.
The framework covers site, power, connectivity, water, permitting and development conditions. Strategy is encoded through configurable weights, while fatal flags remain separate from the score. This prevents an unacceptable site from compensating for a critical defect with strong performance elsewhere.
The output is a ranked shortlist with category breakdowns and explicit disqualification reasons, in a format that can be taken to an internal committee.
T2 – POWER & ENERGY ASSESSMENT
T2 builds 120 months of demand from deployment blocks such as halls, pods or phases.
IT capacity and utilization are converted into facility demand through PUE, auxiliary loads and seasonality.
Against that demand, the workbook can stack up to five power-supply options in merit order and calculate available capacity, dispatch, energy gaps, cost, blended cost per MWh, equivalent cost per kW per month, water use and emissions.
Low, Base and High scenarios are run separately rather than blended inside one file, so each case remains individually auditable.
The result is a month-by-month view of where planned IT deployment outruns available power, which is the constraint that most often invalidates an otherwise attractive data center development plan.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
The primary download is the T1 site screening scorecard. The secondary file is a ZIP bundle containing both the T1 and T2 workbooks, their two dedicated user manuals, a Site & Power Pack Quick Start, worked demonstration data and the licence, scope and disclaimer documentation.
WHO IT IS FOR
Data center developers, colocation and hyperscale operators, digital-infrastructure funds, site acquisition teams, power and energy advisors, technical consultants and investors evaluating early-stage data center opportunities.
WHAT IT IS NOT
This pack does not produce a construction budget, financing structure or investment return.
It does not replace a formal utility interconnection study, electrical engineering study, network simulation or legal confirmation of power rights.
