Despite many people trying to change the narrative, there is still too much of a focus on technology when it comes to change. I have written about this many times and get absolutely frustrated with the "it's all about the technology" brigade. So I thought just to emphasis the point here are 10 reasons why people should be the first consideration during any technology implementation and not treated as a second thought. Technology may be the enabler, but people are the engine. You don't get transformation by upgrading your systems; you get it by upgrading your organisation's capacity to change. That begins and, funnily enough, with people. Got it now?
