1. Question Marks – The Question Marks cluster represents the largest share of surveyed firms. Leaders acknowledge the theoretical case for global diversity, but remain unconvinced of its business value.
2. Diversity as a Tool – Organizations in this cluster recognize the operational value of global talent, but treat it as a tactical lever rather than a strategic priority. Diversity is applied selectively, often in digital or R&D units, to address immediate skill shortages.
3. Diversity as a Celebration – Organizations in this cluster already operate globally and maintain multicultural workforces. This cluster represents progress beyond tactical use, but organizations remain limited by treating diversity as symbolic rather than strategic.
4. Diversity as Part of DNA – Organizations in this cluster represent the highest level of maturity. These organizations integrate diversity into their operating model, culture, and leadership, achieving sustained growth and outperforming peers in innovation outcomes.
Progression across the 4 clusters of diversity increases an organization's Innovation potential and Organizational Resilience.
Global Diversity is not simply about hiring across borders. It is about embedding Culture, Collaboration, and Innovation into the organization's DNA to achieve Resilience and Growth.
