Change Managers expect many things of their stakeholders but what exactly is it that stakeholders expect from their Change Managers? This is a much-overlooked angle in Change Management: the stakeholders' expectations of us. While Change Managers often focus on what they need from stakeholders, meeting what stakeholders need from them builds trust, credibility, and ultimately, change success. It's not just about driving change, it's about earning the permission and partnership to do so.
So let's have a look at the different expectations from two different angles (1) Senior Stakeholders (Sponsors, Executives, Leaders) and (2) Operational/Impacted Stakeholders (Employees, End Users, Line Managers), along with relevant rationale
