DESCRIPTION

This product (Main Reasons for Change Failure According to ChatGPT) is a 13-slide PPT PowerPoint presentation (PPT), which you can download immediately upon purchase.

In these slides there are 10 key reasons for change failure, along with a simplified percentage distribution based on frequency in reports and literature. These percentages are for illustrative purposes and based on general trends observed in change management studies. I have to say that I am somewhat surprised at some of the results as I would have expected them to be higher up the "food chain" but then it's ChatGPT!
If you believe change failure percentages many change projects come in at between 60% and 80% failure. There are many reasons for this. So I thought in my inimitable wisdom I would get some pretty accurate answers from ChatGPT given the amount of data it has access to via it's LLM. I was hoping it could identify specific reasons for failure and then display each one as a % of the total e.g. 100 specific reasons for failure identified with 10 being for lack of sponsorship so = 10% and so on. I limited the total to 10 reasons for the sake of simplicity. Now let me be honest. I don't have much confidence in what I got back e.g. the last three for instance of Poor Change Leadership (5%), Change Fatigue (3%), Lack of Employee Involvement (3%). I would have thought these would have come in at a far higher %. But I do agree with the first three Lack of Executive Leadership (25%), Resistance to Change (18%), Poor Communication (15%)

NOTE: ChatGPT say … "These percentages are based on typical trends in change management literature and can vary depending on the organization, industry, and specific circumstances of the change initiative." Mmmm … typical trends eh. Why am I not convinced
