DESCRIPTION
An electric vehicle (EV) charging station, also referred as electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), is a power supply device that supplies electrical power for recharging plug-in electric vehicles (including battery electric vehicles, electric trucks, electric buses, neighborhood electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles). Charging stations are classified depending upon the nature of the charging current, speed of charging, and location of the charging stations. Based on the nature of the charging current, EVSE is classified into AC charging and DC charging depending on where this AC/DC conversion takes place.
This Financial Model presents a scenario of a EV charging station business with 3 verticals (DC Fast charging stations in Highways, Level 2 Charging Stations in City premises and DC fast charging stations within city premises)
