Pragmatic Project Management (PPM) is an approach towards implementing a working project management environment. It consists of a set of tools, processes and guidelines.
PPM is methodology-independent, but uses many of their aspects.
Often, Project Management (over)focusses on a Project Plan containing Tasks, Dependencies, Milestones, Resources.
But one of the strongest and most important elements of good Project Management is the way how to deal with the Project, from a Risk and Issues perspective.
This document/tool is a RAID log including a Dashboard to allow a structured and consistent management, documentation and reporting about the main Risks, Actions, Issues and Decisions of your Project.
It is setup in Excel, adopting a KISS approach.
It can be used independently, or in combination with other tools; or as part of the entire PPM framework. The entire framework can be found on Flevy.com soon!
