DESCRIPTION

This product (PM Framework Overview) is a 17-page Word document, which you can download immediately upon purchase.

The purpose of this document is to introduce the p3m global Project Management (PM) Framework providing an overview of the project management processes, templates and guidelines required for all projects. The document additionally details the roles and responsibilities of each of the participating bodies involved in the PM Framework.

The PM Framework has been developed to provide an organisational approach and system to the management of projects. It is a high level project management method that offers a set of tools (documents) and techniques (guidelines) that are scalable and adaptable to all levels of projects.

The PM Framework is designed to be a high level methodology and assumes a level of knowledge consistent with approximately three years of practical project management experience and participation in a 3-5 day project management education workshop.

The PM Framework is based on the Project Management Institute (PMI) best practice guidelines to project management, known as the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK), and can be tailored to meet the needs of all organisations.
