Below are some of the things we do in our experience of managing around 6000 agents, resellers and distributors at Ednovate.
As I explained in the next chapter, each market category cannot be the same.
Each category has its own way of communicating and promoting, so to be effective they must be differentiated. The way to differentiate is by using a different name code for each of your contacts. As a simple example, I differentiate contacts based on categories such as potential prospects, prospects, buyers and business people.
Prospective prospects are contacts that I have just received, prospects are people who have already asked questions or had interactions, buyers are product buyers and business people are those who are already resellers.
So for each of their contacts, I added codes such as CP for Prospects, Hasyim CP, Budi CP, Rina CP, etc. Then for Prospects I can provide a PR code, for example Riyan PR, Dudi PR, Vina PR etc. Then for buyers I can give a BL code, for example Sinta BL, Nina BL etc. Then specifically for your reseller team you can use the RS code, for example Ade RS, Habib RS, Anna RS etc. Can you imagine?
If you have differentiated the contacts, don't forget to differentiate their respective broadcast lists or broadcast lists. The aim is to make it easier for us to disseminate the necessary information.
It is true that announcements can be distributed through groups, but sometimes because there are too many groups it can be difficult to read, so it also needs to be in BC. After the broadcast list is separated according to categories, you can easily send messages according to the categories.
For example, if there is a discount promotion, you can spread the information to the team or to buyers, because they are in a hot market so you can sell it directly. Meanwhile, for potential prospects and prospects, we can share educational material or personal branding. first, or soft to covert selling, then when they buy they move to the category above.
