BENEFITS OF DOCUMENT
DESCRIPTION
The key to a successful Kaizen workshop is planning. You have to prepare in order to be able to lead a team through a problem and gain stakeholder alignment or approval.
This is an excel document that helps you to action the tasks required within the desired timeframe in order to execute your Kaizen workshop.
The excel document includes what action to take before the Kaizen workshop (tracking up to 4 weeks out and then covering the last couple of days before the workshop launches). Then finally what to do after you have completed your Kaizen workshop (within the next 30 days).
The excel document allows you to enter the date of your workshop and will automatically calculate when each action step is due. It also suggests the action owner to each step. You can also track your status of each action item, as you work through your Kaizen workshop preparation.
The excel document act as a planning tool for the project lead, that can also be shared with the project team and key stakeholders. This is a key tool for any Kaizen workshop leader to ensure that all team members and stakeholders (including the project champion) are aligned around all actions required for the execution of the Kaizen workshop.
