Once an AI-Driven Development Life Cycle team clears its pilot and starts delivering in production, the question changes. It's no longer "will AI-DLC work," but whether the team is still actually running it – or whether rituals are being skipped under deadline pressure and gates are being waved through without real scrutiny. That kind of drift rarely shows up in a status report before it shows up in defects.
This Excel workbook is a recurring, weekly-or-monthly tracker built for exactly that gap. It captures 11 operational indicators – six covering Bolt throughput, cycle time, Mob ritual attendance, and gate integrity, and five covering defect escape rate, rework, test coverage trend, stakeholder satisfaction, and time-to-value – and rolls them into a single Delivery Health Score banded HEALTHY, WATCH, or AT RISK. A separate Ritual Discipline Flag is built specifically to catch the failure pattern unique to AI-DLC: it fires only when Mob Elaboration attendance, Mob Construction attendance, and the Human Validation Gate Pass Rate are all three degraded at once, rather than flagging any single off week.
The workbook is organised across six tabs: an Instructions tab; a Settings tab where your organisation sets its own thresholds – cycle time target, attendance minimums, gate pass rate, context freshness window, defect baseline – since there are no generic industry defaults to inherit; the Bolt & Ritual Tracker and Quality & Outcome Tracker, where each period's actuals are entered; a locked Governance Dashboard that calculates the Health Score, the Ritual Discipline Flag, a full indicator RAG grid, and a six-period Trend Strip; and an append-only Historical Log that keeps a permanent record period over period. A Portfolio Rollup panel lets a programme with several teams consolidate each team's headline figures into one view.
It's built for Programme Managers, AI-DLC Coaches, Engineering Directors, and CIOs who need to answer "is delivery still governed?" with a number rather than an impression – completed each reporting period by whoever owns the tracker, then reviewed with engineering leadership when a score or flag calls for a closer look. The methodology terminology follows AWS's AI-Driven Development Life Cycle; the indicators and thresholds are vendor-neutral and apply whatever AI tooling your organisation runs.
Format: Excel (.xlsx), no macros or VBA. Works in Excel 2016+ and Google Sheets. Tab-by-tab guidance is included in the workbook.
