DESCRIPTION
Blocking is used when an experiment cannot be run under homogeneous conditions. It is used when an input is considered a ?noise? variable – a variable that could impact the process but is difficult to control (or you don?t wish to control), but you would like to be able to account for it none the less.
The objectives of this module are to: introduce the concept of Blocking in Designed Experiments and learn how to create a design with Blocking in Minitab.
This material is suitable for independent study or formal classroom training includes quiz questions.
