EMBED CODE (Copy and Paste)
Lean Six Sigma is a five phased methodology commonly known as DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control). The DMAIC frame work originated with Six Sigma; Lean by itself didn't have a frame work per se. After Lean and Six Sigma were integrated, the DMAIC frame was adopted to Lean to give waste elimination projects more rigor. This is where most Lean Six Sigma implementations stop. In this module, we extend that paradigm to include DMADV as well. Define, Measure, Analyze Design and Validate is another Six Sigma discipline that employs tools and techniques used to design new products and services that are six sigma capable. The "three disciplines" approach is the most comprehensive anywhere. Got a question about the product? Email us at [email protected] or ask the author directly by using the form to the right.
