BENEFITS OF DOCUMENT
DESCRIPTION
This Overall Equipment Effectiveness & Efficiency tool is the simplest in the market and does two fundamental things essential to capture your company's OEE levels.
First, the tool lets you break up the factors that affect the OEE, such as
1. Available Hours
2. Shutdown
3. Lack of Resources / Holidays
4. Breaks
5. Setup and Waiting
6. Losses
7. Preventive Maintenance
8. Breakdown and Repairs
9. Quality Losses
10. Good Output
It displays a comparison between Actual OEE vs. Best-in-class OEE. The OEE is well-illustrated using a waterfall chart that displays a sound output.
In addition to the above, this tool computes the Cost of OEE. Based on the budgeted production and considering all the above factors that affect the good output, the cost of OEE and efficiency gains are calculated. Efficiency Gain is the difference between the cost of OEE at the current % (for example, 80%) and the cost at the best-in-class level (for example, 92%).
The tool includes a Cost Waterfall Chart that shows the contribution of each of the above factors to the overall cost so priorities can be appropriately assigned and teams assigned to focus on the most significant contributors to the loss of output.
Purchase this tool today if you are experiencing efficiency loss and monitoring OEE and want to use a simple tool to track Monthly OEE.
