Standard Work is the most effective use of: People, Product and Processes. The three components of standard work are: Takt time, Work Sequence and Standard Work-in- Process. Standards promote consistency. Consistency is a foundation of safety, quality and efficiency. Executing Standard Work allows deviations to be visible. This recognition is the first step to process correction and prevention.
The objectives of this module are to: understand the three components of Standard Work and understand how to interpret: Standard Work Combination Charts, Standard Work Diagrams and Standard Work Instructions.
