MODEL OVERVIEW
User-friendly Excel model to analyse the fundamental value of a single stock. The workbook automatically retrieves current/live and historical stock data via the Microsoft Stock History data type and pulls company financials and ratios via the FinancialModelingPrep (FMP) API. It compiles the last 5 years of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow data; surfaces key company background/details; and charts price & volume history.
Users can estimate fair value by inputting forward assumptions (revenue growth, operating margin, P/E multiple, and share dilution) over the next 3 years, then compare the implied fair value with the latest market price to judge over/undervaluation.
Requirements: Microsoft 365 (for the Stock History data type) and a free FMP account/API key to enable automated data retrieval.
