Purpose
The SaaS Subscription Tax, Multi-Jurisdiction Nexus & Remittance Control Tower is an Excel control workbook for reviewing subscription tax from invoice records through reported tax, filed liability and bank principal. The included illustration contains 1,260 distinct invoices across eight jurisdiction schedules. It supports a documented finance review of differences and exceptions before an operational close decision.
Reconciliation controls
Three reconciliation legs compare invoiced tax with Stripe tax reports, adjusted tax with filed liability, and net liability with bank principal. Signed adjustments, credits, prepayments and bank fees remain separately visible. Net and absolute differences support review of offsetting errors. Imported-source comparisons retain four decimal places; expected tax uses a separate configurable policy with a two-decimal USD example.
Nexus and exception review
Configured sales and transaction thresholds support OR and AND scenarios alongside physical presence and registration flags. Product mappings, example tax rates and exemption certificate controls support review of collection findings, including zero tax, undercollection and overcollection. Fifteen material business conditions connect source completeness, unique records, coverage, reconciliation and exception review to the overall result.
Workbook workflow
Eight customer sheets group source ingestion, tax variance, nexus thresholds, tax codes, filing and payment clearing, exception review, integrity checks and executive reporting. Yellow input fields are unlocked while calculation areas are protected. The executive view includes a jurisdiction comparison chart and a tax principal waterfall. Source records are entered manually; the workbook has no live integration or external data connection.
Included files
The listing contains the Excel workbook, a six-page Implementation Guide, a three-page Quick Start Guide, and a two-page Cutover Sign-Off Template with seventeen interactive fields. The workbook is white label. The guides explain the review workflow and example policy boundaries.
Capacity and policy boundaries
This is a fixed-capacity 1,260-invoice edition; extension requires a controlled review of ranges and controls. All records, rates and thresholds are illustrative. Local tax treatment, thresholds and rounding policy require validation before operational use. The workbook performs no filing or payment action and provides no statutory compliance guarantee.
