BACKGROUND
Carmen completed her BCom degree in Human Resources Management at the University of Pretoria. She has obtained a wealth of experience while working in the United Kingdom in global reward management roles for international organizations. Since her return to South Africa in 2019, Carmen has provided reward consultancy services to a wide range of clients, including retail, financial services, government entities, and supplementing reward offerings for smaller boutique consultancies.
Carmen has also been awarded her Chartered Reward Specialist accreditation through the South African Reward Association, is a Spokesperson for the South African Reward Association and has authored several articles on Reward Management in South Africa.
As a self-professed Excel geek, Carmen enjoys the challenge of creating user-friendly Excel workbooks and PowerPoint training guides for her clients that simplify their operations and optimize processes within the Reward and wider HR space.
