Quality management is key in the competitive marketplace of behavioral healthcare today. One method of maximizing quality is through the institution of an outcomes management system. This would typically include some form of assessing patient satisfaction of services, treatment outcome (e.g., pre-and post-treatment assessment, treatment follow-up, and health and/or functional status).
