DESCRIPTION
The main purpose of the template is to enable user to monitor Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Balances.
The structure is user friendly and practical and is suitable for any type of business.
The template allows user to track Customers and Suppliers Invoices, produces A/R & A/P Aging reports and creates automated customer and supplier statements.
General Note
The template includes Input Tabs (gold color) and Output Tabs (dark blue color).
User needs to complete all the necessary info in the input tabs for the template to function properly.
As a general rule, try to avoid changing the formulas in the cells in the output tabs. Please contact us if you need assistance on the functionality of the template.
Template Instructions
Set Up Tab
-Customize the template for your businesses by entering the appropriate business details and banking details.
-Fill in Customers & Suppliers payment terms that apply in your company in the Payment Terms section
Customers & Suppliers Master Records
-Create Customers & Suppliers Master Database by filling in all columns with the required info
Customers & Suppliers Invoices
-Enter all Customers & Suppliers Invoices and update all columns with the required data.
Data entered in these 2 tabs are the basis of the calculations in the output tabs
Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Aging Reports
-These tabs produce an aging report based on the date entered in cell D10.
-All calculations in these tabs are automatic and user only needs to select the report date.
Company Summary
-This tab produces a summary for the total company.
-It includes total aging of A/R & A/P, Aging Reports for Top 5 Customers & Suppliers and Chart presentation of the results
Customer & Supplier Statement
-These tabs produce a detailed account statement including aging analysis and list of outstanding invoices per Customer/Supplier
-All data entered on the input tabs are automatically included on these statements after selecting the statement date in cell D18 and the customer code in cell D19 .
