Terms, Compatibility & Disclaimers -- Kyodo Partners documents

Compatibility. Workbooks open in Microsoft Excel (Windows or Mac), Excel for the web, the Excel mobile apps, Google Sheets in any modern browser on any operating system including Chromebook and Linux, and other applications that read .xlsx files. No macros are used. Any included web calculator runs in a current version of Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox and is designed for a desktop or laptop. You will need your own valid Microsoft Excel license or a free Google account. We do not control the changes Microsoft, Google, or Apple make to their applications, browsers, or operating systems over time, and those changes can affect how the files behave.

Your responsibility. These tools are informational planning aids only. They do not provide tax, accounting, legal, or investment or financial advice, and using them creates no advisor relationship. You are solely responsible for the information you enter, the output the workbook produces, and any decision, conclusion, or action you take based on it. We do not warrant or guarantee the accuracy of any number, formula, or dependency in the product. Estimates are for planning only. For advice specific to your situation, consult a qualified professional.

You own your copy, and changes are your own. When you buy the workbook it is yours to modify however and whenever you like. Because of that, we strongly recommend saving a copy of the original workbook in its purchased state before changing anything. Kyodo Partners stands behind and supports only the original purchased workbook, and does not guarantee, support, or take responsibility for any workbook you have modified.

Sold as-is. This product is provided "as is" and "with all faults," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Where the law does not allow certain warranties to be disclaimed, they are limited to the shortest period the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud. The document is licensed for your own or your organization's use, not for resale or redistribution.

Updates and support are at our discretion. Any updates are provided at Kyodo Partners' sole discretion. Even if Microsoft, Google, or Apple releases a change to their applications, browsers, or operating systems, Kyodo Partners may choose not to change the workbook. We may reduce, discontinue, or decline support for any product, for anyone, at any time, and may modify, deprecate, or retire any product at any time.

If it does not work. If you cannot get the document running on your setup, or it does not work as described, contact us through Flevy within 7 days of purchase and we will support a refund. Checkout is handled by Flevy, so Flevy's own refund and purchase policies govern the transaction and apply alongside this note. Any consumer-protection rights that apply under your local law continue to apply, and nothing in these terms limits a right that cannot be limited by law.
