As Managing Partner and Chief Strategist of Vincent Roa Group, she has provided strategic and tactical support for international organizations, government agencies, private industry, and non-profits. At the EPA, where she served as Public Affairs Director and Director of Science Communication, she designed and directed an award-winning, multi-year science communication strategy and brand communication portfolio.
During her tenure at the World Bank Water and Sanitation Program, she wrote the organization's multi-year global communication strategy, spearheaded and implemented its global rebranding, and engineered the WSP Global Communication Center. A United Nations senior communication officer and World Bank and UN consultant, she was also the keynote speaker at the first class of graduating social marketers in Cajamarca, Peru. She has presented on strategic communication issues at the British Medical Association, Johns Hopkins University, the Association of Colleges and Universities, and other venues.
A consummate professional in brand communication and winner of numerous awards, including the Association for Women in Communication Matrix Award, she is past president of the largest US chapter of International Association of Business Communicators. She has a PhD in Communication, was one of ten US Treasury Department-designated social scientists to conduct research for the $100 bill's first redesign, and is a water sector communication expert.
