While we extol managers to be better assessors and developers of talent, we are not specific as what they need to do. Dr. Charlie Bishop has developed a Self-assessment Tool that defines what managers "should" be doing.
Whether this tool is used in self or other assessment, we find it can help with individual leaders or to be used in a training program.
