DESCRIPTION
Variation in a product while in production is either due to material variation or process variation. Variation in a finished product can be uncovered using Components Search or Paired Comparisons. This is the Product Search. Variation in an unfinished product can be uncovered using Paired Comparisons. Product/Process Search is an extension to the Multi Vari Study where time to time family is a Red X.
The objectives of this module are to understand how to look at both the products and processes as potential areas of the Red X.
