Craig has three decades of experience in all facets of database systems development including developing and teaching DB2 and SQL Server classes, systems analysis and design, database and system administration, and data analysis and modeling. He has worked with DB2 on the mainframe since Version 1 and has experience working with other database technology including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase and IMS.
Craig is also the author of two best-selling database books. The first, DB2 Developer's Guide, is published by IBM Press and offers over 1600 pages of in-depth technical information on DB2 for z/OS. It has been in print for over 20 years in 6 different editions.

Craig has been appointed by IBM as a Gold Consultant for DB2 and an IBM Champion for Data Management. And Craig was named one of the Top 200 Thought Leaders in BigData & Analytics by AnalyticsWeek.
Craig graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a double major in Computer Science and Economics, and a minor in Mathematics.
