Equally important to having great data is being able to articulate that data clearly through the usage of charts, diagrams, and other visuals in your slide.
This document is the first in a series that describe the processing of selecting an appropriate visual for your data set and intended message.
In this presentation, we introduce a simple 3-step Visual Selection Process to go from data to visual:
1. Select your message.
2. Determine the appropriate comparison type.
3. Select the appropriate visual.
We also include several sets of guidelines to follow when creating your graph form visual in a slide.
